SABERTEK CPAP PROJECT
Sabertek was involved in South Africa’s National Ventilator Project. A non-invasive breathing aid was industrialised and manufactured to assist COVID-19 patients with breathing. Sabertek was the first company to deliver these breathing aids to hospitals nationwide.
Many breathing aids were donated to assist hospitals needing devices to administer oxygen to patients.

DESIGN FORM
The SaberFlow is a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) breathing aid which assists COVID-19 patients with lung infections to breathe easily. Proudly produced in South Africa.
Oxygen enhanced air is provided to the patient through a mask. The continuous flow of air keeps the airway open and increases the amount of oxygen entering the blood stream.
Medical oxygen mixes with ambient air which is drawn into the system through the Venturi effect. Pressure and oxygen concentration is set with mechanical valves.
